I fix one car a day.

So yours gets the whole day. Brakes, oil, suspension and tune‑ups done in your driveway — no shop, no waiting room, no upsell.

Book my day

$50 diagnostic. If it turns out to be over my head, I tell you straight and you pay nothing. Not ready to book? Ask Ken what's wrong first — free.

Book

Make an appointment. Pick your day.

Two minutes. You describe the problem and the vehicle, you claim a day, and I text you back to confirm the time and the plan before anything starts.

  • Only one vehicle is booked per day, so days go fast.
  • No card, no deposit on this form.
  • I confirm the price range before I touch the car.

Rather just talk? .

Or hit .

Where should the car be worked on?

Not sure is fine. The diagnostic decides the best place and how long the repair needs.

Sunday through Wednesday. Open dates are grouped by week, and the next available week stays on the board. A day that's already claimed is removed. I confirm every request by text.

By sending this you're asking me to text you back. That's it.

What I fix

From driveway repairs to deeper engine work.

Deep work, handled honestly

I can do head gaskets and other deeper repairs for you, or work beside you while you tackle them. Either way, the same standard hourly rate applies.

  • Timing chain / beltChains, guides, tensioners, belts
  • Head gasketsI can do the repair. I recommend having the cylinder head checked and resurfaced by a machine shop first, so we are not trying to seal warped mating surfaces. You can decline that step after we talk through the risk.
  • Valve covers & sealsDone for you, or I can help you install them at the same hourly rate
  • Factory-spec repair onlyI put the vehicle back the way it was designed. I do not take modification jobs.
  • Pistons, rings & full rebuildsI do not take these as a full-service job or resurface engines myself. If you want to do the teardown, I can work alongside you at my standard hourly rate.

Drop-off address goes out with your confirmation text, not on the internet.

The diagnostic

$50 to actually find out.

I come out, I listen to the whole story, I put hands and tools on it, and I troubleshoot until I know what's wrong. You get the real answer and a price before any work starts.

If it turns out the repair is over my head or outside what I do, I say so on the spot — and that visit is free of charge. I'd rather waive the fee than pretend.

How it works

Three steps and a text.

  1. Describe itFill the form or talk to the voice line. Year, make, model, and what it's doing.
  2. Claim a daySunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. One car per day, so the day is yours.
  3. I confirm, then I show upYou get a text with the time and the price range before I turn a bolt.

Why one car

Because rushed work is how people get hurt.

A shop runs six cars through a bay at once and every one of them waits on a part, a lift or a tech. I take one. If your brake job turns into a seized caliper bolt, there's nobody behind you in line, and the job still gets done today.

Questions

The ones I get every week.

Do you really only take one car a day?

Yes. That's the whole model. It's why the day doesn't blow up when a bolt snaps, and it's why days book out.

Which days can I book?

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Pick one on the form and I'll confirm by text.

What does the $50 diagnostic cover?

Me coming out, hearing the whole story, pulling codes, testing, and giving you a real diagnosis with a price. If the fix is outside what I do, I tell you and the visit is free.

Why do some jobs have to be dropped off?

Timing work, head gaskets and deeper teardown can take two to three days and need a controlled space. Those come to my place. The diagnostic decides the right setup before any repair is booked.

Can you do my head gasket?

Yes. I recommend having the cylinder head checked and resurfaced by a machine shop first so the head and block are not trying to seal against warped mating surfaces. If you choose to skip that step after we discuss the risk, we can decide how to proceed.

Can you help me do the repair myself?

Yes. For a head gasket, valve cover, seal or deeper teardown, I can do the job for you or work alongside you at my normal hourly rate.

Do I need to buy the parts?

No. I'll quote parts and labor together before anything starts. If you already bought parts, bring them and we'll talk about it.

Where do you go?

Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan, Livingston and Big Sky. Somewhere nearby, like Four Corners? Just ask.

Do you modify or rebuild engines?

I repair vehicles back to factory spec. I do not take modification, piston, piston-ring, full engine rebuild or engine-resurfacing jobs as full-service work. If you are doing that deeper work yourself, I can show up and help at my normal hourly rate.

How do I pay?

When the work is done, from the invoice I hand you. No deposit to book.

Four days a week. One car a day.

If yours is the one, claim the day.
